Cognitive Dissonance

At last night's Grammy Awards, various artists spent most of the night making insulting jokes about President Donald Trump. When they finally ran out of steam, Neil Portnow, the head of the Recording Academy, stepped up to the microphone to beg the President for more taxpayer-funded subsidies to go to such artists.
